Outdoor Grass Bed.
Instant win. I want to lay on that for the rest of the day and just let the clouds drift by. Then, I’m gonna ride my horse (I call her Black Booty) to Arby’s for a sandwich, at which point it will have become the perfect Sunday. Thanks Apartment Therapy and Pamela Berstler!
ok…this takes the cake.

This is extraordinarily close to what I want. I can’t put my finger on what’s missing, exactly (more color? too sparse?), but I’ll figure it out.

Not typically what one thinks of when one thinks of rustic decor, but since I want to combine rustic decor with some modern touches, I think I could make this work. I envision it either in front of a vanity or in the living room.

Granny chic reaches new heights. Crocheted lights by Moonbasket. Imagine the shadows thrown on the walls and ceiling. Cozy and chic!

inky:
The bed lulls users to sleep by enclosing them in automatically-closing curtains, then gradually dropping the temperature and lighting, while levels of gentle white noise rise to block out external sounds.
My dream bed.
That’s one kickass bed!!!
ummmmmmmmmmm WOW!
If this won’t cure my insomnia, I don’t know what will.

I like the modern floral print and the simple shape, though I think a little bit of it would go a long way. Personally, I could see it at a vanity in my future bedroom (girly enough but not too girly), or perhaps a set of them at a breakfast nook.

I think this brushed metal chair would be perfect with my Bonanza Table. Classic, simple shape with a modern twist.

I like this one too. The table looks like something you would see in the great dining hall of the Bonanza ranch. (I’d love to have two of them placed back-to-back length-wise, space permitting.) It’s more rustic than the NOX table, but I don’t mind, because it’s being paired with a sofa and metal chairs. I dig that the chairs are metal but in a classic shape, though I think I would go for something less lawn chair-looking with perhaps a brushed/less shiny finish. I may take a cue from the NOX table and have one side as a picnic-style bench instead of the sofa, filling the other side and the ends with metal chairs similar to these. Food for thought.

Covering off the three bases of decor – living, dining and bedroom – the new NOX sustainable furniture line from Team 7 offers all your home essentials in one cohesive collection. Created by award-winning European designer Jacob Strobel, the modern collection features wood, beautifully yet eco-consciously finished with only non-toxic, herbal oils and waxes. Tables come with the option of wood A-line legs or polished stainless steel, which puts a modern twist on tradition. Your cabinets echo the warmth of wood with the contemporary touch of glass. And we love the wood bench, which is finished with leather. We’d place it with a rustic, knotty barn-board table for a country-kitchen look! For more information on the new NOX sustainable furniture line visit Team 7.
I like a lot of rustic, kitschy, country-inspired things, and one of the challenges I face is balancing the three in order to create a sophisticated decor. While I like minimalistic designs a great deal, they aren’t practical for me. This challenge means I opt for pieces like this picnic-inspired table to help create balance. It’s a modern twist on the old classic, and I feel that it would actually look really great against a background of more rustic pieces. (Stay tuned for photos depicting exactly what I mean.) What do you think?
